Gwen Davis-Young (Soprano) is a native of Brooklyn and is no stranger to the concert stage. She has studied voice with Prof. Cesare Longo of New York University, at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. Ms. Davis is a member and soloist at Berean Missionary Baptist Church in Brooklyn. Ms. Davis is a frequent soloist and guest vocalist with many churches in the New York City and Long Island areas. She has appeared at schools and other institutions in performance both here and abroad as well as the Vatican in Rome, Italy. Her repertoire includes classical, sacred and spirituals. Her credits include principle roles in "Alice in Wonderland," "On Broadway" and oratorios "Petite Messe Solennelle" by G. Rossini, "Strabat Mater'" by F. Schubert, and the concert version of Scott Joplin's "Treemonisha," performed with the Roy Presod Chorale of which she is a long time member. Gwen wishes to thank Pastor Clive E.
