Peter Archer (Trumpet) received his Bachelor of Music Degree and his Master of Science Degree in Music Education from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, CUNY. He has performed with numerous ensembles at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and in many churches throughout the New York Metropolitan area. Early in his career, he was selected to perform a concert with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, a concert which was highly praised by music critics. He has given recitals at St. Patrick's Cathedral (NYC) as well as concerts with the Winans, Shirley Caesar and other gospel artists. In addition to his trumpet career, Mr. Archer is a conductor, teacher, music contractor, and brass coach. He is the music director at the Nathaniel Hawthorne Middle School-74 in Bayside, Queens and a faculty member at the Queens College Preparatory School of Music. He has conducted the Queens All-borough Wide Symphonic Band at Carnegie Hall during the hall's 100th Anniversary celebration. Peter is also the coordinator of the Bedford Central Instrumental Music Group.
