Allen Organ Studios, Inc. was pleased to be able to accommodate the American Symphony Orchestra's needs by providing a three-manual organ for their January, 1998 performance of the opera, DIE ÄGYPTISCHE HELENA by Richard Strauss, in Lincoln Center. This performance of "The Egyptian Helena" was the original 1928 version. Conductor Leon Botstein, with the American Symphony Orchestra, was joined by organist Kent Tritle (pictured below, at the 3-manual organ console), New York Choral Artists under the direction of Gary Wedow, and a bevy of guest artists.
